I just saw Das Boot The Director's Cut for the first time in many years. Bad-ass submarine movie. You feel like you are in that submarine. I love movies with claustraphobic settings. Watch this if you haven't. Side note: The making of feature starts off with a trailer, and it has that voice-over of that guy who used to be on all the trailers, he was so fucking good. It actually starts off with "In a World..." I think every time he did those he added that phrase to the beginning.

I only saw the dubbed version and the voices used were all of the Col. Klink variety. To the movie's infinite credit, it was still enjoyable.

It's been a while for me...watched it in high school and thought it was awesome. Subtitled, thankfully. "U 571", "K 19", the hell with all that. this is the definitive sub movie. At least, my recollection of it is.
