After several months of back-and-forthing it through the Arrested Development DVD seasons, I've decided to once more embark on the Monty Python's Complete Flying Circus 14-disc set as my go-to-sleep DVD standby.

It's come to my attention that the new versions of the box come with slimmer DVD cases.

As opposed to this:

Kind of a shitter, as it feels a little more substantial watching the whole thing in full DVD cases, but that's me and I'm old. In any case, I figured Monty Python deserved its own thread, since, you know, fucking genius and all.

Have at it with all things Python, including Graham Chapman as Senor Biggles.

Awesome.

Silence, naughty person of the night.

HP, your love of beer, stoner rock, grammatical fussiness, and Monty Python makes me want to move back to New Jersey, just so we can hang out and discuss the noble semicolon in silly voices.

Do it! It would be a true meeting of the minds:

You wanted an argument? Oh, I'm sorry, but this is abuse.

I've been falling asleep to this for three days now and still haven't been able to last through the first episode of the first disc. I've seen an awful lot of that Italian language class with all the Italians in it and the "It's the Arts" program with Teddybaby, but not much else.

Tonight's the night though. Episode two. I'm going all out on this one.
