The Archer thread seemed to be becoming this topic anyway, so I thought I'd give it its own thread.

Squidbillies for the win. I'm not a big fan of Childrens Hospital, Metalocalypse went way downhill though the last season did have some funny moments, and even David Wain can't save Superjail for me, but my wife does all kinds of research on prisons and stuff, so I think maybe hearing about that kind of thing all the time has had an effect on how I see the show.

I don't know if anything can stand up to the old Brak show and Sealab though.

Can I get someone to back me up on tim and eric just being painfully, painfully unfunny? I mean, Tom goes to the Mayor had it's moments, but I've kinda come to despise those two.

Also, remember Lucy Daughter of the Devil? That should still be around, but no, we get more robot chicken. yawn.

Sure man, I got your back. Even tried it baked. Nothing. Not even a smile. More of an odd stare? They have great comedians and actors to come one the show, even they can do nothing to save it. Maybe I just don't get it.

Squidbillies. More please. I've been hooked since "blueberry jam".

And yeah, I don't really get Tim & Eric. I think I remember someone discussing on SR.com about this/similar shows being deconstructionist because TV sucks that bad these days... Then again, maybe that was me.

I also can't stand Tim & Eric. Seems like so many of my stoner friends find it hilarious, but baked, sober, soused...doesn't matter. Sucks.

Yeah, they're not my bag. Those same friends of mine got me wasted and we watched it and I guess I can see why they like it, but it all seems like one long wink at the audience and I get tired of that easily.

Metalocalypse mostly. I've been watching AS since the start, but I miss the classic lineup. Aqua Teen Hunger Force and Home Movies are awesome.
