The Brought Low - Right On Time ....was listening to it this morning. Still sounds like Joe Walsh jamming with The Black Crowes....which is a very great thing

Saw Nebula live earlier this month, they sounded really rough, unrehearsed and careless, forgetting lyrics etc. Great tunes though, best to listen to their CD's from now on.

Can't believe QOTA's epic Rated R album is almost 20 years old now,WTF!? That's crazy.

And their first album literally 20. I'll never forget reading about QOTA for the first
time back in 1999 in the free Tower records magazine, and thinking " nah these guys I bet aren't any good",judging by Homme's goodlooks I assumed they were prolly some Matchbox 20 type band, but then eating my own words when I heard the first two albums in 2000,the year I first heard KYUSS and feeling floored by the heaviness. I want my high school daze back LOL

Some others...

High on Fire- Art of Self Defense(2000)
Dozer-Madre de Dios(2001)
Lost Goat-Equator(1999)
The Minibosses-S/T EP(2000)
The Sword-Age of Winters(2006)
Nebula-Sun Creature EP(2001)

The 00's were an amazing musical era. Better than the 90's imo.

I agree with most of the ones previously mentioned. I'll add Ché -- Sounds of Liberation. I wish that band did more than one record.

Saw OP:Gen live weeks before they broke up. Their Mesa Boogie amps blew the house fuses out at Ash St. Theater. I saw the future of SR circa Y2K that night......................then suddenly all went quiet.
