Of course 1968 is the year they killed Robert Kennedy and MLK...

Election year and Republics won. Counter-Culture movement attacked by the silent majority. What's going to happen starting 2017 with the conservatives? This could all go very wrong.

Nixon's bullshit eventually caught up to him. Hopefully it doesn't take us four years for an impeachment/resignation.

Well, since this is a music board, it's pretty much undisputed that 1969-1972 was one of the best eras for music (as were the Reagan/Thatcher years), so we can at least hope for that.

That's been my thought with this presidential debacle- at least we'll get some good, new music out of it. And hopefully not just a rehash of Rage Against the Machine. Then again, I think Neil Young was about the only musician to put out something against the Iraq War bullshit, so maybe I'm being a little to optimistic.

Al Jourgensen owes his career to the Republicans...When there's a Dem in the White House, he writes shitty albums about his drug habit...Who the fuck doesn't have a drug habit? I was kinda hoping for Jeb Bush...just to get one more great Ministry album. But, regardless of your politics, I'm sure Trump will inspire some great protest music. But no way was I gonna vote for an evil bitch with a snuke up her snizz! Politics and racism are issues that are extremely polarizing...WTF, Oodum? Will your next post be about House Bill 2? Cuz I'm not quite sure where to piss anymore? Sorry, I been drinkn. Ha! I only mean to offend everybody!

I'm loving 2017 so far. After a decade of a rapid decline of douched out noodling, Darkest Hour just dropped the sickest shit since their first two albums. I never thought I would be listening to Darkest Hour again. 2017 delivering the goods!
