Does anyone know if the new remasters of Superjudge and Dopes to Infinity are any good? The packaging of the CDs looks really great, some of the best I've seen on any digipack deluxe reissue, but I'm unsure of whether or not to buy them because I have heard that the remaster of Spine of God from a few years back was prettty shit so I'd assume that these aren't much better. Has anyone heard these new remasters and if so, are they worth buying considering I don't currently own any version of either of the albums?
Cheers

Yeah, the ones from a few years ago on SPV weren't great. I didn't know there were new ones out. I'd find out if it's the same remaster before investing for sure, but if it's actually a new one, that's worth a shot.

I'm fairly certain they are new ones as they are being released on spinefarm records. Powertrip and God Says No are being reissued in the same series too but I'm not that bothered about those two.

Interesting too that it's Spinefarm and not Napalm. This is the first I'm hearing about all of this.

Yeah I think it a collaborative thing between spinefarm and UMG. The CDs look really fucking nice too. I might buy them in the week and put some pictures up here so you can see what they look like too as there doesn't seem to be any pictures of them anywhere on the internet as of yet.

Is Dave gonna Sharon Osbourne over all of Ed’s solos like he did with the Mastermind redux?

I don't think so. The Mastermind thing was different, that one was more like a new album with the original mastermind album as the structure for it.

This band just never "clicked" for me like it has for most. Would rather just spin any decent Steppenwolf LP.

If you haven't listened to Spine of God you really should. One of the quintessential "stoner" albums. Up there with Holy Mountain and Blues for the Red Sun
