I'm happy to hear that they were underwhelming on this tour as I was kicking myself for not getting a ticket to the Philly show, but no longer.

Notice that responses in this thread from people who actually attended a gig are five-to-one positive:

"ruled"
"enjoyed it a lot"
"HEAVY AS FUCK"
"Excellent time, sounded heavy as fuck, great set list"
"it. Was. Awesome."

I know Mr Red's reaction is sincere but he is in fact the lone naysayer in this thread.

Funnily enough I've just been invited to the gig at the roundhouse in London, but with Moss, Purson and the Cosmic Dead supporting it sounds worth it even if the headliner's a bit limp.

If the Wiz are crushing and destroying more power to them!

I posted this on Facebook, that my assessment is that:

Warhorse > E-Wiz 2000 > E-Wiz 2015

I did run into several people last night at the Once and Future Band show (ex-Drunk Horse guys) last night that were also at the E-Wiz show and I seemed to be the only one completely bored out of my mind. Nobody said it "RULED" or anything but it seemed that most enjoyed the show. A lot of people thought the sound at the venue fucked the band over, which is kind of cop-out, although a common complaint for that venue. One dude actually looked at me like I had two heads when I told him I was bored, so maybe my opinion should be discounted as well. It's getting increasingly difficult to impress me as I age, I will admit.

After seeing Once and Future Band (ex-Drunk Horse guys play their first show in Portland in 10 years) last night and Faith No More play their first show in Portland tonight in 17 years, I can say pretty confidently say that E-Wiz is a pretty shit band live.

Probably a high bar for most, but I'm trying to save you a lot of time.

Saw them last night and enjoyed the show.
Not as good as Acid Mothers Temple Friday night, but they rocked!

Hung out after show with the band... very cool peeps.
