I wouldn't say sexy. More astute and inspiring, (dong is always gonna hate, hate, hate)...

New York episode kicked butt as expecting. Nice words from Obama as we all expected. I'll slot the series as follows:

Seattle
Los Angeles/Rancho de la Luna
Chicago
New York
Washington DC
Nashville
New Orleans
Austin

This was very thoughtful.

Is there a season 2?

No word on that. I'm sure the Letterman people would be up for it if he wanted to do it again. Could do San Francisco, Detroit, Boston, Minneapolis, Cleveland/Akron, Portland, Florida, etc...

Or a European one?

I have to imagine they are big in the Europe too, maybe?

That was just a warm up trial.

Started this yesterday and just finished the Nashville episode. Really good stuff. Chicago episode was worth it just to see Big Black on a TV show. I started skipping the FF performances at the end during the DC episode. Nothing lost, as far as I can tell. At least they're the very last segment of each show so they don't ruin the pacing at all.

I've had a crush on Emmylou Harris ever since I was a little kid. Haven't seen her in a long time, but damn does she still look amazing. I'm sure plastic surgeons deserve some credit for that, but still.

Can't stand the new foo song on the radio, sucks so fucking bad. Nothing goes through that fuck. All the rock stars he interviews sound the same, every decade, and all just to promote how great grohl is as writing shit songs. He's on lady gaga's level, knows nothing about music.

I hear grunge is making a comeback though.
