Twenty years ago, the Neil Jam record, Mirror Ball was released. Still love this record, especially, this track. Jeff Ament is playing some gnarly droney bass and Jack Irons is laying it down hard. Big upgrade from Crazy Horse, IMO.

Great album! Not a huge Pearl Jam fan but they make a great backing band for Neil. Right after this he released Broken Arrow, which was also a fantastically good, hypnotic, jammy album. Extremely under-rated.

On 3rd listen and I'm pretty much concluding this is a stellar album! A little more on the mellow end for them but perfect for a fall day. Slightly shoe gaze...slightly indie...but mostly just a great Southern Appalachian-tinged rock band! Love how these guys go from acoustic to jam to psychedelic to hard rock over the course of their albums. Cool band!

Yep, great album!

Check out Court In The Act if you haven't already. That just got re-issued and is one of the best NWOBHM albums from that era.
