Some good scores in here. Love Camel, specifically The Snow Goose. My deceased rabbit was a huge Camel fan (he liked prog rock in general....)

I'll post my own recent scores in the near future, once I figure out how to use the camera on my phone.

Elder record is killer. Grabbed one at the show last week.

I preordered Dorthia (Windhand) Cottrell's solo album from Forcefield Recs. It's just her powerful and sultry voice with her acoustic and some tasteful pedal steel guitar. Reminds me in spirit of US Christmas/Nate Hall, Appalachia murder ballad stuff. With all of the heavy-does-acoustic albums happening lately, hers is definitely worthwhile. That said, I bought a ticket to see her and Nate play here in May.

The lovely Ms bought us Tame Impala tickets.

I picked up a Tascam digital 8 track recorder for laying down basic ideas and sending them to friends for collaborative projects. Nothing like hearing your own recorded guitar parts for tearing apart your playing technique.

Also picked up that Warhorse reissue and a handful of Mos Generator stuff from Bandcamp. I never took issue with the sound on their Small Stone release of 'Songs For Future Gods', but I noticed the band's HeavyHead store is carrying a $5 CD-R remastered version of it.

Lately I've been collecting rare longbox CD's,even some that are sealed. Pictured here is my Nirvana-Incesticide CD in Longbox format..

A few other longbox CD"s I bought lately are Deeelite's second album and Prince's Diamond and Pearls album!

I would so kill to get a KYUSS longbox.Seen a White Zombie one recently too, but it went for 50 bucks on ebay.

Imo, the record industry should've never phased the longbox out. They make CD's feel more complete and cooler, and I love the extra artwork. I kinda feel if they weren't gotten rid of, the music industry would be alot better today actually. I guess some people are dumb to throw these away. Might as well phase out cereal boxes and just sell them in plastic bags if their point was right.

Also my friend Bruno who used to play bass in Flipper is sending me a CD of his new band Virgo Supercluster. So I'm looking forward to that.
