Finding out that we both picked up James Gang Rides Again on the same day in a different city makes me wonder how many people buy that record a day...hmm

I'm not sleeping too well at the moment so in a drone mood. The last 24 hours:

> "Amigos De La Guitarra" by iM.G.R. y Destructo Swarmbots!. Supposed to be 42 min of layers of guitars, effects and shit like that. Alas 7digital seem to have messed it up and I can only download the first 27 min. Damn fine 27 min though!

> "Anthropomorphic" by The Mount Fuji Doomjazz Corporation. Perfect compatibility with my brain: drone, improvised and just a tiny bit crazy.

Incidentally, can't leave without mentioning Amplifier's "The Octopus". Two hours of astronaut progish metal. My fav of 2011 so far (and it'll take a lot to beat it). With one track called "Trading Dark Matter On The Stock Exchange" you surely know its worth checking out. Here's another:

Tommy,
Killer haul. Some nice Exotica there (Ritual of the Savage and the Martin Denny, etc.)
Yesterday would have been Martin Denny's 100th Birthday.
Cool shit.
