Just sold Phauss's Audiodrome to Oren Ambarchi.

My own US vinyl finds have probably passed 600. Hitting the record stores was great, but now I have to find a way to ship them back to europe. Any suggestions?

middlebeer, it's obvious you went overboard. Now you're just going to have to leave those records in the states here with me. Thanks!

You should probably look into an international shipper like DHL or Fed Ex considering the weight you are dealing with now. Having oversize and overweight luggage can get really expensive when going overseas. I'd push my checked in and carry on luggage to the max when flying but if you go over you might be better off shipping the stuff.

Tip: you can weigh your insanely heavy luggage filled with records by stepping on a bathroom scale while holding your suitcase, and then weighing yourself without the suitcase and doing a little subtraction. When I think I might be pushing it with more than 50 lbs of publications in my bag, I'll do this before going to the airport so I can divide things into my carry on luggage. Usually it's art exhibition stuff that is weighing me down - like trying to bring 300 booklets for an exhibition. This shit gets really tiresome as I get older. I must have traveled with at least 90 lbs of luggage when I was showing at the NY Art Book Fair last November.

If you register excess luggage well in advance it can be a lot cheaper than if you do it the day you fly.

From Kozmik-Artifactz:

SUNGRAZER - Sungrazer LP
ELECTRIC WIZARD - Black Masses (clear yellow) 2LP
ELECTRIC WIZARD - Dopethrone 2LP
COLOUR HAZE - Colour Haze LP
COLOUR HAZE - Tempel (black) LP
LO-PAN - Sasquanaut CD
ORANGE GOBLIN - Box Set 5CD --> contains the first 5 albums (I'm not a fan of bonus tracks on the same disc -- it breaks the flow of the album I think; but seeing as everything is out of print and this whole box costs only 45 euro, I couldn't let this slip :))

I still need to pick up the new American Heritage but Trap Them and Weedeater get extensive repeats from me.

Kind of sucks that three albums that are that awesome came out at the same time...an embarrassment of riches...the American Heritage and Weedeater albums are great, but I think the Trap Them album is a classic-in-the-making...

just checked the Small Stone site, and the new Lo-Pan discs are IN!
had to grab one since the Lo-Pan dudes won't be home until after SXSW.

(and they prefer to be paid in UTZ brand Crab Chips...Small Stone takes PayPal)

Yeah, by boat. It'll take over a month but it wasn't "too" expensive. If they show up at all, that is.
