Yeah, Viktor Vaughn - that's a good one. The Quasimodo record didn't stick with me as much. I loved the Fantastic Planet samples but the pitch shifted voice drove me spare. Lord_13 got me onto the Cannibal Ox record Iron Galaxy. That's worth a listen if it hasn't already been recommended.

A no brainer stone cold Classic of 90's Hip-Hop and the genre.
Why it took me so long to get it? Stupidity. Sounds absolutely monsterous cranked to full bloom on quality gear.
Production values make or break many Hip-Hop outfits.

Another classic of the genre. Rick Rubin produced. Had the LP back in the day.

KNT posse aka Kalifornia Noize Terrorists!

The hip-hop tracks by Candiria's Carley Coma were very dope..

Picked up a used copy yesterday. After first listen much more impressed than i thought i'd be. Sweet production values, intelligent programming, superb samples/loops and Lauryn Hill sings like an angel/can fuckin' FLOW with the best of 'em. It does run a bit too long tho...

Like i said before: I haven't listened to much Hip-Hop since the 80's, tbh. Still playin' catch up.

Cheers. I'll look for that Del debut CD next. Anything with loads of P-Funk samples and minimal WC "Gangsta" type content will be in line with my Hip-Hop listening interests/habits.

Heh. That viddy brings the LULZ. Hilarious when a douche lip-synchs an obvious vocal sample.

^^^^ Now THAT is freakin' beyond awesome... Where'd you score that!? I want one now.

As for Kyper lolz...It's funny how the early 90's in hip-hop started out all cheesey like that, but then all of a sudden it got serious. Same with rock music in the early 90's,it went from super cheesey to super serious, from Winger to Nirvana.

Anyways back on topic...

Sound recommend! A copy is on it's way to my door. From back in the day 1993 & no "Gangsta" bullshit, just ganga. Selah. :)

Not really feelin' the Del, but lovin' the TD! Expanded my Hip-Hop selections to just under 50 CDs. Think that's plenty for awhile. Thanks for all the help/recommends.

Kinda surprised i had to find these "Boot Camp Clik" groups on my own. They are exactly what i was looking for.
Definitely dig East Coast Boom Bap stuff the best.
