Been drinking the yummy Maui Coconut Porter and Young's Double Chocolate Stout, the latter on draft.

Oh, yeah, also had a killer IPA from Left Hand tonight. It's called Twin Sisters (maybe?) and it was on cask. Dry hopped with Willamette. So tasty.

Nowadays Jesus would turn water into Chimay :P

Although I will admit Sam Smith's Oatmeal stout is pretty fucking badass.

Chimay's nice, and Sam Smiths is the good shit, not had any for a while though. Think I'll get myself a few bottles of Theakston's Old Peculiar in for Christmas, that's my beer of choice.

You won't be able to find it out your way. It just arrived here in Colorado last week. In the past, the brewer has brought some out for the beer festival, so we've been looking forward to having it here on a regular basis. I think we're as far east as it's going, but maybe I'm wrong. For your sake I hope so. It's in cans, by the way.

Anybody tried the new collaboration from Dogfishhead and Three Floyds? I bought a bottle the other day. It's a belgian golden brewed with cardamom and aged in brandy barrels. Sounds yummy.

The Coconut Porter is indeed tasty. I think the "made on maui" bit on the can is a dig at Kona, which is brewed in Oregon.

Had that Dogfish collab I mentioned earlier and it was okay. Won't be buying that one again. A little strong on the cardamom for my tastes.

Went to Oskar Blues Liquids and Solids today but they were closed due to a party reservation so ended up to their brewery/tasting room The Tasty Weasal. Tried their Old Chub on Nitro Tap which I actually didn't care for too much due to the carbonation level, a special batch of Oaked Old Chub which I did like, and their Gordan Ale, which while maybe too hoppy for me I did enjoy.

Texels Stormbock, 9.5%. No wonder I really taste the alcohol in it.
Leidsche Aaipiejee, 6.5%. The bitter overpowers the alcohol in the previous beer.

Yeh Old P is alright, but not as good as the Wherry which I think is the same brewery.
Got impatient and cracked the Chimay last night, it's pretty good, nice strength to it, but by the bottom of the glass I wasn't so enthusiastic as the first glugs.

Which one? I always felt the red tasted best.
