RIP. The BeeGees were a great singing group and a big part of growing up in the 70's. It's a trip they're pretty much all gone.

Barry is the only one.

Shit I remember seeing Andy at a free concert in Orange Park (NoCal) when I was a kid after baseball practice, The kid brother left behind....

I'm guessing there are still plenty of people who don't know about the pre Saturday Night Fever Bee Gees. An amazing vocal pop group.

That footage is great - Live at the House of Stoush. Been there for wrestling and plenty of gigs (Ramones, Slayer, Motorhead).

RIP

Love me some Bee Gees. Funny, they were the antichrist in the 70s to me as far as bands were concerned. Hated them, hated disco. Rediscovered them as an adult on their 90s HBO Special and was floored how awesome they were. I own a lot of their material now and spin it regularly. Their 80s era on up stuff really became more AOR fair and isn't that good, but up until the end of their disco stuff, amazing. I love the 60s and early 70s stuff as well. I saw an interview where Barry said the high voice came from them trying to sing like Little Anthony. After I heard that, it made sense and even their disco stuff was them trying to emulate early 70s soul bands from America. They did it very well.
