After that, traveling to Kentucky in July, and will see some of the Forecastle Festival. SWEET!!!

LAST - BLACK COBRA, CUTTHROATS 9, Wizard Rifle last Sunday - Awesome show! CT9 kicked my fuckin' head in like it has rarely been kicked in over the last five-ish years or so! BLACK COBRA isn't too shabby either! CT9 is a totally stunning/steamrolling experience, like seeing EHG in their prime!

NEXT (maybe) - Wolvserpent and some other band in my hood here tomorrow. Wolveserpent always delivers, but the weather is awesome here now, so I might try to do something outdoorsy instead.

NEXT NEXT (for sure!!1) - Pelican/TOMBS in like three weeks. For TOMBS only, who I haven't seen in live in four years (thanks for not touring at all after your best album!).

LAST NIGHT- Buck Gooter (true weirdos)

TONIGHT- Lumpy & the Dumpers (should be cool)

TOMORROW- Eyehategod ('nuff said)

I'm envious, I haven't seen Acid King in at least 10 years.

They're playing here on Tuesday week after next.
Night after is a Spirit Caravan/Electric Moon clash at two different venues in town.
Anyone know who's supporting either tour?

London is Black Moth + Pet The Preacher for the Acid King show. I think that's the whole tour.

The Spirit Caravan show is a co-headline with Unida with House of Broken Promises opening. Tasty.

Don't know bout Electric Moon

My next show is that Unida show.

Upcoming I have High on Fire in the Underworld. That's gonna crush.

Bum that's just increased the clash value of that Wednesday night considerably.

Balls-out rock at the Fleece vs mind-falling-out psych at the Exchange...

Getting ready to leave for Brooklyn to see THE NATIONAL!!!

One of my all-time favorite bands, so I'm super, super stoked right now.

Next show will be Beck, Lord Huron, Sun Kil Moon, and Sharon Van Etten, amongst others...

LAST - TOMBS on Tuesday. I listened to a song from the opening band, which was generic and bailed to the pub across the street. Also skipped out on Pelican (work night), who were headlining. TOMBS were fucking great!

NEXT - KRAFTWERK in Vegas next Saturday!!!

Last show was Phosphorescent and The National in Brooklyn. Great show, great time. Some drunk guy passed out on me.

Next show is the Forecastle Festival in Louisville Kentucky. We've got all access VIP passes, and we just "mapped" out who we're going to see yesterday. So, hopefully it's going to be Outkast, Slint, Lord Huron, Sharon Van Etten, Sun Kil Moon, and Beck.

Thinking about checking out The Life And Times in Boston...

Last - Acid King, missed the Electric Moon gig the night after. Support was shite, Acid King fuzzed my face off. Great set, crowd demanded more after an hour and a quarter.

Next - Cosmic Dead on the 13th.

LAST - KRAFTWERK on Saturday was fuckin' great. Pretty much exactly what I expected, in one of the swankest hotels in Las Vegas. They played for over two hours (the whole Man-Machine album!) with a 3D show with all kinds of robots, numbers and spacecraft popping out of the backdrop. I actually felt like I got a bargain on the $50-ish ticket (unlike the last QotSA I saw, from the front row)!

NEXT - THIS

LAST- Saw a great new band on Monday called Cave of Swimmers from Miami, billed as two-piece stoner prog. it only took a listen to half a song online to convince me to head down to the show. Band was excellent loud guitar jamming with one of those Moog foot-pedal bass setups, and a killer drummer. The guitar playing was over the top. Check this shit out-

http://caveofswimmers.bandcamp.com/track/cave-of-swimmers-2

NEXT-
Tonight:
Early- Dorthia Cottrell (Windhand) solo acoustic guitar
Late- Ash Borer / Hell / Coffin Dust / Battlemaster / Unsacred
