....monster of an album. The vocals sort of threw me off for a while, but I've found that it's the style that gives this band it's uniqueness. The music is crushing heavy time changing guitar rock. Obvious ties to Keelhaul are there. Awesome noisy heavy and at times sludgy. At times heavier than Keelhaul, and I didn't think that was possible.

linky for "Weedy Species" off Bodies

Craw ruled...they were 1 of 2 Keelhaul-related discoveries (the other was La Gritona) that killed it.

This is definitely the better album, but I think I've listened to "Lost Nation Road" more because I've had it a lot longer. These guys didn't get enough love, but then again, neither did Keelhaul. Except on message boards and in the tape deck of my old Subaru.

Yes bruv, I play it sometimes, sits in a folder with Jesus Lizard and comes out when it's time for choppy METAL. All this sound just makes me think of when I saw Keelhaul and Knut and thought 'this is what my mum heard whenever I played metal at home'.

Love Craw. Guess they're doing some stuff again I heard? This album is probably my favorite but all of their stuff has spent a lot of time in my stereo. Keelhaul too was the shit and got to see them a long time ago playin' to about 10 people. Ah, the good old days!

Box set out right? I have the discs and shows how rich Cle has been and how deep is the tradition. I think that one of the tunes has a alt. Version on Cle Magazine. Rockie Brockways Cambodia label did some good work.
