(TMZ) Anthony Adams -- a former CA State Assemblyman -- tells TMZ it was irresponsible of Miley to smoke salvia, which he says can make "you do incredibly crazy things." Adams adds, "Miley is a star and young kids are going to emulate her behavior."

Back in 2007, Adams tried to get salvia outlawed and classifed as a Schedule I controlled substance -- the same as LSD and marijuana. When the bill was voted down ... Adams settled for restrictions on selling salvia to minors. It is still legal in California for adults.

After seeing the video of Miley smoking the drug, Adams thinks this is the perfect time to bring back his failed bill: "It's time for state and federal governments to renew their push toward an outright ban."

Yeah, that was the thing for me--she's got two different shirts, and to be out in one with sweatpants on and with hair tied back (one of those candid shots of stars just out to get a carton of milk or cigs at the corner store), it seems pretty legit. Unless it was a calculated move to be seen out in an apparently candid shot with something that's intended to bring some sort of cool cred to you when you're breaking out of a teenage pop star thing. I've known some people that i'd never figured to be fans of a certain band, that are HUGE fans of said bands.....they know all the things there is to be known by a rabid uber geek fan.

Yeah, you never know. Altho the iconography of Maiden is as strong as The Misfits or Ramones and may have some sorta pop cache out side of the music. i have NEVER seen a Maiden shirt thrifting- and i hit the stones a couple times a week. AND they sold a fucking ton of shirts in the 80's, 90's. I assumed they'd turn up.

Then again I see NO old rock shirts. MAybe I'm just old and the stuffs gone OR its cool enough that it never hits the floor. Like Harley stuff, I don't see much of that anymore either. ALTHO I did get one for a buddys birthday, it was from Brasil, (honest thats how it was spelt), official Harley shirt or a great boot.
