I like them. Kind of sound like KARP and Harkonnen had a love child, then got signed to Amphetamine Reptile.

^ That Pretenders cover is killer. I was already a huge fan of that song, they did a very cool version.

Neutron, you prob saw this but in case...Lula vinyl and shows;

Also, was and still a big fan of the canadian band Big Wreck. I'm finally going to get to see them in Boston next year. They have a new album coming out, this is a new song, all instrumental, cool tune;

Eclectic selection. Best covers set since that Secret Machines e.p..

Two actual CD purchases i made recently (prob the most cds I’ve bought in 5-10 years lols) from a couple oldies but goodies;

Traindodge 2017 Full album “Time Will Never Know Your Name” solid consistent offering, nothing out of the ordinary, just good t-dodge songs.
https://traindodge.bandcamp.com

The Life and Times 2017 Full album “Self Titled”...I just started listening to this. Some really killer songs on this one, could be one of their best releases.

Happy holidays yunz

Now I'm three albums behind on Traindodge. But that slowcore history is great, I was just listening to Codeine

I didn't realize Lord Fowl was still at it. If Andy does play maybe I'd catch a ride with him but I don't know if there's anybody on the bill that is really a must-see. Be nice to see Earthride again.

If there was only a post hardcore/space rock fest...

kind of cool interview with Andrew Elstner (Riddle of Steel, Tilts, and now ex-Torche). Talks mostly about recent departure from Torche and some of his history with them, and Tilts. And a little about Riddle of Steel history. Pretty cool listen

I like it. The first track is very Autolux, who I'm not really into, but its growing on me. The other two songs I liked instantly. The pennies remake is very Floydian.

New Failure ep drops Friday.

That castor album is great, haven't listened to it in ages, thanks for the reminder.

update on that 9/23/18 Shiner show....Pinebender added to that bill. This is almost a "fly in for show" for me...just timing is not great. Mr. Neutron, I'd highly suggest this one, Pinebender live is mesmerizing if you have not seen them before. And this is the Lula Divina vinyl release shiner issue

Neutron, you spin the new Failure LP yet? I'm listening to it for the first time today. I've been reading pretty high praise reviews of it.

I've given it like 3 to 4 full spins so far. It's a little different...a little less immediate, which I don't mind..payoff might be greater over time. So far I like it. The opening track "Dark Speed" is a really cool opener...a slow builder. Sort of sets the tone that this one may even have more depth than their previous
