Call me old fashioned or prudish, but I'd like to draw a line at the patently offensive and/or gratuitously pornographic. And, as I tried to enforce at SR.com, anything remotely like bestiality or kiddie porn ought to be dealt with post-haste.
But hell, I've always thought that SR.com was a hell of a lot funnier when you had to use words and not rely on images to make your ha-has.
Good words, John. I'm fine with nudity.....but it also got pretty out of hand at SR.com at times, and i'm also of the frame of mind that if I need to see porno, I can always Google it, heh heh. And deep down, I think that the NSFW sort of made SR.com a leisure time only type thing.....the guys that are bored on their work break that wanted to go there couldn't do so. At the places i've worked at, I never went to the SR.com forums simply because you never knew when a pRon bomb was just around the corner, and the last thing i'd need is for an IT guy to trace that and then have that get out. If gratuitous nudity was axed from this forum (g-strings and underwear okay but no nipples, etc) and it went as far as a scantily clad thing, it would be far more safer for the working folk to have some trust in this forum that they're not, you know, gonna get fired from their job or something, ha ha.
Beastiality, child porn, that's all cause for a banning. No point to that, and I remember when some shit head posted a link on SR.com to a video of some couple having sex after killing a young bear. Imagine having to fucking explain that one to your boss if you inadvertently clicked on that and didn't know what it was.
