As an offensive pic poster, I do feel for you. Should anything go? Gifs of murders or torture porn or bestiality? But should humor be moderated down to the lowest common denominator, where the easily offended become control freaks and censor others? Free speech is a tough concept and boards seem to develop your own character. IDK, I have to say Arz had it just about perfect when I first joined, people would get warnings and 10 day timeouts and rare requests to fuck off into cyperspace, but it was largely the Wild West otherwise. I prefer moderation towards malicious behavior and attempts to cause issues irl than towards grossness or juvenile sniping. Another consideration is whether your host would evict you for content and none of us wants to be the cause of that. The Obelisk was already a great blog before your generous efforts. |
